Today was Addison's baby blessing and everything went amazing.
Daddy gave her a beautiful blessing and she stayed quiet throughout the entire blessing! (Thank goodness)
Brett was really worried about Addison because all the men in the circle bounce her like crazy worried she might start to cry, and Brett feels like they might drop our baby!
It was so great to have all the family join us at the blessing and back at our home for lunch after. It is times like this that I am so thankful for an amazing family and how lucky we are to live so close to everyone.
Addison, you looked so beautiful in your white dress, a perfect addition to our little family and we all love you so much.
Mickelle's 2010 Spring Dance Recital
Mickelle was part of the ward talent show. She had a display of her dance accomplishments and then was interviewed where he informed everyone she was the best dancer and made the comp. team! (Very Humble)

At lunch one day Mick watched as all the canoes went by and wanted to know why we couldn't try that? I treid to talk her out of it worried about Brooklyn but of course we gave it a try. Brooklyn actually did really well but mick paddled about 10 times and gave up, then asking mom why I would make her go on such a dumb ride! LOL of course my fault

ToonTown! Both the girls were old enough to ride the roller coaster and of course they had to have hands up the entire time, thanks Mick!
Mickelle and Brooklyn got so wet at the water park we had to find them new outfits to wear for a couple hours, but they sure did have fun!

Jordan World Circus 2010
Our friends invited us to the World Circus, it was such a blast. Not your normal circus the kids got to ride an elephant, ride the pony's, get their faces painted and just have fun as kids. I'm suprised they aren't all sick after all the popcorn, pop, nachos, snowcones and everything they just had to have! (or should I say, what daddy had to have)
Mick and Brooklyn couldn't wait to get their faces painted. Mick went first to make sure Brooklyn really wanted it, sure enough she did until half way through she decided she wasn't having any more an insisted on being done! Her facial expressions where priceless!

Pre-Paid Legal Annual Executive Cruise
Almost our 2nd anniversary with PPL and we are loving every minute of it! We just got back from our 3rd all expense paid vacation on a 4 day cruise to Baja Mexico. We had the time of our lives with some of our close friends and family!
First Stop was Catalina Island. So beautiful there, everyone is so laid back and everyone drives golf carts instead of cars. I don't think they appreicate us coming in a playing hide and seek tag on golf carts with over 40 of us LOL

I can't believe our little girl is already 4 years old and in her 2nd year of pre-school! It seems like just yesterday we were in our first house giving her the very first bath. How time flies... She told all her friends in the circle that she is going to school to meet 12 new friends and may not have very much time to play with them anymore! LOL (Miss POPULAR I guess)

Week 3 I am Thankful for Family
Well this was the week of Christmas and I am so thankful that we have all of our family close by. We don't have to travel more then 30 minutes to see any family which mean we don't miss out on any family events during Christmas. This time of year is one that I can't imagine without my family which is why I am so thankful to have such an amazing one!
This holiday time was amazing as we had my parents and siblings stay the night christmas eve and we all woke up and opened presents from Santa.

Week 2 I am Thankful for Great Life!
I know most of you are wondering what Great Life is so very quickly. Great Life is a 4 day training on Personal Development, helping you to understand who you are, who you want to be, and how to make your life and relationships better! I have watched many of my role models go through Great Life and how much they have grown because of it so I decided to give it a try.
I am so thankful that there are people in today's world that care enough about others to put programs together like this. We had so many leaders volunteering there time to help make us better and to allow us to see what our strengths are to use in our daily lives. I went in trying to learn how to be a better wife and mother and how to be more open and welcoming to people. I wanted to learn to not be so controlling and intimidating to others and believe it or not after only 4 days and came out with so much more then that! If you know me you know I like my space and don't like to be hugged, I am happy with the friends I have and I enjoy being a leader. But after this training I had some of the best friends I will ever have and I have learned how to be a leader not a controller! (Crazy huh! LOL) I am so thankful for my "Angel" who made me take this training cores and for being there for me through the entire thing. I am thankful for each one of the Great Life friends I made that have really helped me see who I really was and who I am now!
I can't wait for Part 2 to start December 17th

What I am Greatful for Week 1

I would have to say that the first thing I am thankful for is my two beautiful little girls. Even in High School I couldn't wait to get married and have kids! (I know, I know, I have been told my whole life you have plenty of time why rush things) But for me this is just what I felt was right. I have always been one that enjoys company, (Brett on the other hand loves his alone time) so when Mickelle came into our lives something clicked, our mothers always tell us you just don't understand love to the fullest until you have kids of your own and this is so true.
I could truley spend ever minute with my kids (ok almost every minute lol) but really my day starts out so perfect as each morning Mickelle runs into my room and snuggles up in bed with me. Since Mickelle was old enough to talk I have always said to her "Best friends?" and she reply's with "Forever and Ever!"
Now at three years old she won't leave the house or let me leave with out yelling 10 times "Best friends forever and ever mom!" I love it, I don' think there is anything in the world that can flip your day like something such as this coming from one of your kids!
Then came Brooklyn, when I fond out I was having another little girl I was excited because they are so much fun to dress and relate to but at the same time I was a little worried at how we would have another BEST FRIEND! (How would Mick handle this) But it has been amazing, she has the most incredible personality, not letting anyone tell her what to do already at the age of 11 months! (I know I am in trouble) but I love it I want my kids to be strong and have a mind of there own. She is totally different then Mickelle, she loves to be held and wants to know you are there at all times. But now as she gets a little older and Mickelle and Brooklyn play together it is so fun. Many times Mickelle would rather play with Brooklyn then her friends and any attention Brooklyn gets from Mick is Gold in her eyes! These two little girls have really changed my life and I can't imagine life without either one of them. I am so greatful that God has blessed me with them!

Mick's First Dance Recital
This was Mickelle's first dance recital at Thanksgiving Point. She was so cute and did a fantastic job. Mom and Dad couldn't believe how she had the whole dance memorized! Good Job Mick we love you
